I'm going to London! For 5 days, but if I get into UCL's Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit (what a mouthful), I might end up being there for a while.
So naturally, the Clash's London Calling album has been on my mind for a while. A classic, if ever there was one. Nominally, the Clash is a punk band, but if this is what punks do, then I want to be a punk. It's pure happy rock n' roll is what I'm saying. I can't believe I hadn't heard these songs before. There's are touches of brass band, some reggae, and perfect demonstations of guitar pop.
Enjoy. I definitely do.
