The Fratellis are a great little band from Scotland. Full of glam and stomp and stories and fun. They got a big break when Apple decided to use a song of theirs for an iPod ad. Much as I hate Apple, they do have good taste. Have a byte:

Here's another Scottish band I like. The View. Superstar Trademan was one of the few songs I played over and over again. Nothing fancy. Just pure, simple, Libertines-inspired rock-n-roll from kids who've barely hit 20.
